Forgiving is Power. Be Empowered. Forgive.
Forgive them, the ones who lied on, to you, betrayed you, stole from
you, blamed you, cursed you, humiliated you, overlooked you for praise
or promotion, disappointed you and broke your heart, even the ones who
rose up to strike you down.
Forgive them all. Forgiving them doesn't mean what they did or
said wasn't wrong, or bad or unkind. Forgiving doesn't mean you condone
their actions or that you will allow them to continue to hurt you.
Sometimes we have to forgive and release people from our lives or set
boundaries for what is and is not acceptable behavior.
Forgive them because forgiving is good for your soul,
your spirit, your health and your future.
~
Forgive them to let go of anger, resentment and thoughts of revenge.
~
Forgive them to stop feeling and thinking like a victim.
~
Forgive them to breathe more easily.
~
Forgive them to take back the power they continue
to wield in your life.
~
Forgive them to free up space in your life for
more love, joy, peace and prosperity.
~
Forgive them to forgive yourself
for being weak, vulnerable, needy, stupid or
whatever it is you 'blame yourself for being'.
~
Forgive EVERYONE for EVERYTHING
to leave no dark spaces
for hurt and anger to linger.
